The Kingdom Perspective of Marriage
Understanding your home as a centre of divine fellowship, discipleship, and generational impact.
A Kingdom view of marriage
Marriage was ordained by God as a Kingdom institution through which His presence, glory, and purposes are manifested on earth — a covenant that reveals God and builds His kingdom from one generation to another.

Preface
Marriage was not merely instituted to satisfy human companionship or perpetuate society. It was ordained by God as a Kingdom institution through which His presence, glory, and purposes are manifested on earth. This book seeks to present marriage from that Kingdom perspective, helping believers understand their homes as centers of divine fellowship, discipleship, and generational impact.
My prayer is that every reader will discover afresh God's design for marriage and experience the fullness of joy that comes from walking in covenant with Him and with one another.

Introduction — God's Glory in the Family
Marriage is one of God's greatest gifts to humanity. Before the fall of man, God created Adam and placed him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate and keep it. Humanity enjoyed uninterrupted fellowship with God, dwelling continually in His presence. However, sin disrupted this fellowship, causing mankind to lose the intimacy that was originally intended.
Through Jesus Christ, God established a more glorious covenant under the New Testament. God's ultimate desire has always been to dwell among His people. Under the New Covenant, believers have become His dwelling place. As the Apostle Paul declared:
"Christ in you, the hope of glory." — Colossians 1:27
As believers, we are not merely carriers of God's glory; we are called to reveal and reflect that glory to the world. One of the most profound ways this occurs is through fellowship. Jesus taught:
"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." — Matthew 18:20
The family, particularly the covenant relationship between husband and wife, provides one of the most enduring expressions of this fellowship. In marriage, two believers dwell together, worship together, pray together, and serve together, creating an atmosphere where God's presence is continually manifested.
Marriage, therefore, is more than a social contract or cultural institution. It is a Kingdom institution designed to reveal God's presence, advance His purposes, and demonstrate His glory on earth.
God desires families that function as living tabernacles — homes where His presence is welcomed, His Word is obeyed, and His Kingdom is established from one generation to another.
Sexuality itself is a gift from God. He created it for covenantal intimacy, companionship, and the multiplication of godly generations. Scripture declares:
"One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts." — Psalm 145:4
Because human destiny is closely linked to sexuality and family life, the enemy has continually sought to distort God's design through adultery, fornication, pornography, sexual immorality, and other practices that undermine the sanctity of marriage.
Nevertheless, there is hope through redemption in Christ. God is restoring families, renewing marriages, and raising households that will stand as witnesses of His Kingdom.
This book seeks to answer important questions such as:
- ✓How do believers discern God's will in choosing a spouse?
- ✓How should finances be managed within marriage?
- ✓What principles guide the raising of godly children?
- ✓What does true fruitfulness in marriage look like?
- ✓How can husbands and wives cultivate intimacy that honors God?
It is my prayer that as you journey through these pages, your marriage, family, or preparation for marriage will increasingly reflect the beauty of God's original design and become a testimony of His abiding presence, fullness of joy, and everlasting pleasure.
Prayer
Father, thank You for Your divine plan for marriage and family. May every home represented by this

Your glory. Teach us to walk in love, unity, and covenant faithfulness. Through Jesus Christ our
Lord, Amen.
